The Demon inside
04:01
|
|||
๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐จ:
Fragments of that fateful night
when we went to war with the beast
I dream of that dreadful fight
and that beautiful girl at least
Ever since I did return
once honored by them all
in there eyes where I discern
the fear that brought my call
Away, away you must away
don't listen to the Demon inside
away, away in the morning grey
your fortune lies in the past
The hardest step in any trip
is the first one out the door
so I take my weapon by the grip
take my saddle off the floor
one last stroll through my home
the place where I grew up
if I ever will return
no one can read in my cup
Away, away you must away
don't listen to the Demon inside
away, away in the morning grey
your fortune lies in the past
Fresh, cold air fills my lungs
who knows what lies ahead
a stale taste is on my tongue
when I think of the dead
All I learnt from childhood on
was it all for nought
when honor and integrity
only downfall to us brought
Away, away I must away
I listen to the Demon inside
away, away seize the day
my demons lead the way
Away, away my brothers are dead
There's nothing left to save my soul
away, away cold moss be my bed
in darkness I will roam
Away, away you must away
don't listen to the Demon inside
away, away in the morning grey
your fortune lies in the past

The travelling Warrior
04:29
|
|||
๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐จ:
Take me to the end of the world
oh take me far away
'til I hear voices unheard
to live another day
over plains far away
just my sword hung by my side
on my horse night and day
in the distance I ride
From village to village
no one knows my name
just a stranger in the corner
staring in the flame
to some I tell my stories
but all react the same
they never believe me
at least they pay my beer
The travelling warrior
they call me in the hamlets
all the people listen closely
drinking whiskey from the goblet
a storyteller's life
my misery became
I only search for reason
search for honor to my name
Take me to the end of the world
oh take me far away
'til I hear voices unheard
to live another day
over plains far away
just my sword hung by my side
on my horse night and day
in the distance I ride
Some already know me
but my name they never know
all they want is my story
to forget about their own
get a whiff of the fragrance
of lands they'll never see
in their minds follow the travels
but never hear my plea
The travelling warrior
they call me in the hamlets
all the people listen closely
drinking whiskey from the goblet
a storyteller's life
my misery became
I only search for reason
search for honor to my name
Take me to the end of the world
oh take me far away
'til I hear voices unheard
to live another day
over plains far away
just my sword hung by my side
on my horse night and day
in the distance I ride
I tell them the stories
of my and my companions
when we sailed our boat
through ice and through cold
A story of battle
of blood and victory
a happy reunion
is what they want to hear
when I really tell the truth
about how things really were
they always become silent
creeping feeling of despair
In carnage lies no glory
In death lives only void
the scent of burning flesh reeks of
innocence destroyed
Take me to the end of the world
oh take me far away
'til I hear voices unheard
to live another day
over plains far away
just my sword hung by my side
on my horse night and day
in the distance I ride
Oh my never ending forests
I shall wander you once more
you don't care for all my stories
you witness all the gore
sometimes I feel like giving up
on returning from your green
your rivers fill my cup
one day I will rest on your lap
never to be seen

Into the Dawnlight

๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐จ:
The dark, cold night has found it's end
the hard times seem to fade
my friends lend me your swords
we will greet the newborn day
We fought all this time
for our own noble cause
and all we got was hate
and no applause
Into the Dawnlight from the cold night
the season seems to change
come sit down by the fire
and listen to our tale
Into the Dawnlight, no moonlight
can replace this beauties bliss
so stand with me here
and watch the morning's kiss
My brothers, my friends come folllow me
soon our hard work will bear fruit
these past two years we walked thorugh hell
like a tree without a root
but we climbed back up, right to the sun
to claim back what is ours
soon our fight is over
and we will feast 'til the morning
Into the Dawnlight, from the cold night
the season seems to change
come sit down by the fire
and listen to our tale
Into the Dawnlight, no moonlight
can replace this beauties bliss
so stand with me here
and watch the morning's kiss
Into the Dawnlight, from the cold night
the season seems to change
come sit down by the fire
and listen to our tale
Into the Dawnlight, no moonlight
can replace this beauties bliss
so stand with me here
and watch the morning's kiss
Into the Dawnlight, from the cold night
the season seems to change
come sit down by the fire
and listen to our tale
Into the Dawnlight, no moonlight
can replace this beauties bliss
so stand with me here
and watch the morning's kiss
